Project Luminous
Project Luminous is a real-time task management platform built for teams who care about both velocity and delight. Every interaction, from dragging cards to completing a task, is designed with soft motion, clear feedback, and accessible patterns that hold up under daily use.
The story
Overview
The backend uses event-sourced sync so multiple clients stay consistent without conflict-heavy merges. A shared component library keeps UI cohesive across web and internal tools, while WebSocket channels push live updates with graceful offline recovery.
We shipped iteratively with design and engineering paired from day one: prototypes in Figma became Storybook stories, then production components with full keyboard and screen-reader support.
My role
Senior frontend lead. Owned the design system, real-time client architecture, and accessibility standards. Collaborated on API contracts and led a squad of four engineers through two major releases.
